How to Produce - Step-by-Step Through the Production Process
The first hour is open to everyone in the Industry.
The training portion is for WIFT members ONLY.

Feb. 6 - Preproduction Training workshop
Networking open to all- Discussion of Oscar nominated films.
Members-Only- We will go through the script and delegate positions for the filming of the short film that was created during the January WW meeting. Members will learn the proper protocol for permitting, script breakdown, scheduling, and final preparations for executing and actual film shoot.
TBD - Filming of Project
March 6 - Editing and Scoring Training Workshop
Members will view different musical scoring and edits of the film to discover how editing of the same footage can tell a different story.
April 3 - Viewing party of Final Project
Open discussion of new projects from members.
May 1 - Script Writing and Story Pitch Training Workshop
Members will create a new story for the group to film. General consensus will dictate the storyline and the writing process will begin. Possible Final Draft workshop?
June 5 - Script Scheduling Training Workshop
Presentation of script to the group. Members will amend any problems and create a final script. Possibly create storyboards, if needed. Final will be broken down into a shooting schedule, set a date for location scout.

July 3 - Preproduction Training Workshop
